Introduction
The Earth in UHR's universe is different. Continents, nations, and coalitions of our world are different to that in UHR.
Culture, timeframe, and history alters-
a different time is formed.
The current year is 2055. Many of the world's satellites and global internet has diminished. While the direct cause of its failure is unknown, many appoint the years of global conflict and neglect of digital infrastructure. This lack of global communications lead to a widespread slow of technological advances and forced many wars to be fought with direct action, logistics, and manpower.
Despite this, many of the world's leading nations and corporations have worked to replace and/or salvage what is left of the global network. The unfortunate side-effect of this notion is a leading battle of misinformation, resource wars, and a focus on militarization to maintain control.
This mass militarization has left less developed nations behind which has lead to an open, but silent world of piracy, black market weapons trade, and guns for hire.
Superstructures
Before the wars, there were marches towards peace. Many nations began constructing large superstructures as a way to unite humanity, perhaps not under one banner, but rather a representation of unity of human achievement.
Some completed construction, such as Crystal Bay's Harbor- a massive trade port spanning over 200 square kilometers. Or the Tower of Light- a skyscraper of science and research standing at roughly 4000 meters tall, to name a few.
Regardless of noble intention, ironically- others never saw completion or construction- either halted to collapse of governmental powers or resources being diverted to conflict.
Introduction
UHR is made up of 3 countries.
Aspin, Paraq, and Poro.
The 3 share common laws and currency.
The trade is Republic Credits at increments of 4.
For example, a loaf of bread may cost 4 credits while a soda may cost 1.
You could compare 1 credit to 25 cents that of USD.
There are no "cents/change" which makes purchases in solid numbers.
The driving side is on the right side of the road, the wheel being in the left seat.
Government & Laws
The Government here is a stratocracy. Meaning the Military command is in charge of the Nation's Government. This usually leads to a more strict judicial system meaning crime is lower but restrictions are higher.
Specific laws aren't specified in lore however the 10 law constitution specifies the citizens of UHR's rights and responsibilities.
Three Countries under one flag
Aspin is the Governmental Epicenter of UHR. The largest country and arguably the most powerful of the 3. Cities here are lavish, high production, and organized. The capital of UHR, "Cordia" resides there. Wide-open flat lands in the southern region allows for agriculture and farmland.
Poro is the Nature land of the Republic. Being the Northern most country, the terrain here is mountainous and less populated. The capital of Poro is "Danca" and is a popular city to see the Northern lights and the abundant wildlife population.
Paraq is the Republic's Port city. The Arid land in the center is bordered by Tropical beaches and rock walls. The higher elevation near the water makes it a pristine location for the Republic's Naval Ports and reserve stations.
Demographics & Economy
The demographic across all 3 nations is mostly medium-skinned peoples. The average life expectancy is 92 years of age. The average age to retire is 65.
A loaf of bread currently costs 4 credits.
Cars are about half electric, half gasoline.
The high import is automobiles, mainly from Jinsan.
The high export is food items, mainly vegetables.
The average hourly pay is 60Cr/hr
Founding
Not much information to UHR's roots have been given or touched on in lore.
In the old days, UHR was a new settlement land. Mostly those traveling from Euron, came to the original land of the 3 countries for a new life. The people who traveled the waters in search of new land were known as "Hollows", those without land or purpose and were seen as pirate burdens to those in Euron. Comparable to a coalition of pirates, these seafarers kept to their own and stayed powerful through unconventional combat and naval power.
These people embraced the title and founded a nation based on the adventurous and rebellious spirit.
Most of the original history of the Republic's actions is hidden from public eye. What is known is that the militants responsible for protecting these settlers quickly gained the power by force and founded the roots which makes up the country of Aspin.
